CNRA, in cooperation with CYSA – Cal North sponsored and selected 13 California-North referees to attend and referee the 2015 Presidents Cup that took place June 10th -14th at the Stocker Fields in Snohomish, Washington
The event featured boys and girls teams in the under-13 through under-17 age groups who competed for a regional championship and a spot at the 2015 US Youth Soccer National Presidents Cup to be played July 9th-12th in Overland Park, Kansas.
All games were assessed and mentored by national and state level assessors throughout the region. Referees received advice and feedback on all of their performances throughout the tournament to elevate their referee abilities and knowledge. Also while at the tournament, the CNRA group of referees visited Seattle’s downtown Pioneer Square and experienced a historical underground walking tour and the infamous Pikes Market before the tournament and also later got to attend the MLS Seattle Sounders vs. Dallas FC match. This match featured MLS and FIFA assistant referee Kermit Quisenberry who also provided the lead instruction and leadership throughout the tournament.
