Referees in the CNRA Advanced and Youth Referee Programs were invited to take part in a full weekend of on- and off-field training on April 22-23 during the 2023 Cal North State Cup. This event took place as part of a partnership between CNRA and Cal North that is designed to increase development opportunities for the next generation of aspiring referees.
During the day, officials worked games and received feedback from Referee Coaches. Then in the evening, CNRA Director of Referee Development Matt Buckman hosted a more formal technical training session and group debrief. Have a look!
