CNRA is pleased to announce that Cal North-based FIFA Referee Victor Rivas is assuming the role of CNRA Spanish Language Program Coordinator.
The addition of this role represents CNRA’s commitment to providing more accessible communication and education to all referees across Northern California.
Victor’s immediate tasks will be to audit current communication channels and update them to ensure both English-speaking and Spanish-speaking referees are addressed. All written communications going forward will be provided in both English and Spanish, from general announcements and information to registration instructions and requirements.
He will also begin to build a program of community outreach focusing on recruitment and education in primarily Spanish-speaking communities.
Victor takes on this position in addition to his roles as FIFA & PRO Referee, and a referee mentor.
